Accessibility at Hotel Italia

It’s not a regulatory adjustment.

It is a choice made by Rossella and Massimo, involving concrete structural modifications, staff training, and a reimagining of the space,to ensure that every guest can move around, sleep and enjoy breakfast with independence and dignity.

What you find here is the result of real interventions, not promises.

Moving around without barriers

The ground floor and all communal areas are accessible without architectural barriers.

Interior pathways are wide and free of steps and thresholds. Doors are wide enough to allow easy wheelchair access.

The elevator in the main building, equipped with Braille control panels, provides independent access to the upper floors.

Rooms for everyone

We have renovated some of our accommodation units to provide accessible spaces and bathrooms for people with disabilities.

One fully accessible room has a bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower.

The room numbering is highly legible with high colour contrast.

Barrier-Free Dining

The breakfast room is accessible to wheelchair users:

tables at the right height, adequate maneuvering space, and round tables to facilitate communication, even for those who use sign language.

The breakfast menu uses high readability criteria.

Upon request, we prepare menus for allergies and intolerances.

Trained people

Our team has been trained to welcome guests with various disabilities: mobility, vision, and hearing. We know how to communicate, anticipate needs, and make your stay seamless without having to ask twice.

We are available to send photos of the spaces, rooms, and internal routes in advance.

An open path

Accessibility never ends.

We are working on: a wheelchair-accessible reception desk, illuminated emergency signage for the hearing impaired, and other progressive improvements.
